Daemons script

Hi,
I am doing some research about Daemon scripts, I was looking for any references in the manual but there is not many information about it.
Is there anyone in the forum with some experience on this?
I would like to do some simple tests, for instance, it would be very helpful to have some standard daemons as scripted daemons to understand the running.
