I like having a recent posts button to see all the new problems that arise, is this possible? Please forgive me if there is one already. If there is please point me in the right direction.

There is a "view unread posts" and a "view new posts" on top of the page.

Not sure about this.
Doesn´t the 'Active Topics' do, sort of, the same function already?
