Realflow 2012 install problem

Post by ramplayer » Wed Mar 13, 2013 4:26 pm

Greetings from South Louisiana

Just received the commercial version 2012 Realflow. Already running the demo version on the same workstation that hosts 3ds Max Design 2012. Trying to install the commercial version. The execute program does not ask me for the license number as expected and I get the following error messages.

Failed to load Daemon plugin C:/Program Files/Next Limit.RealFlow2012/plugins/daemons/crowdflow.dll

Failed to load Daemon plugin C:/Program Files/Next Limit.RealFlow2012/plugins/daemons/morph.dll

I am hesitant to install the 3ds Max plugin utility until I am able to cross from demo to full version successfully.

Thanks

Hi there ramplayer,

Our best wishes to South Louisiana. The issue with the plugins in absolutely normal in demo mode, because there, plugins are not supported. Once you've entered your serial number and relaunch RF, the plugins will be loaded as well. You can proceed with the installation process then go to Tools > Licenses and copy/paste the serial you got from Next Limit. You can also store the license as a text file somewhere else on your computer and point the "From File..." button in the license window to the file on your HDD and load it.

Really very helpful.

Went into tools, removed the demo license and installed the new one. Realflow restarted without any errors. Now will install the 3ds Max plug-in.

Thanks. I owe you a cajun gumbo......

You're welcome Steven. Glad to heat that everything's working as expected. Cajun gumbo sounds very tasty. If I ever manage to come to your hometown I'll take you at your word ;)
