Simulation progressively slowing down

Hello guys :)

I just got my new system in and I am having an issue that I did not have with my old crappy quad core.
I will start a simple simulation with a standard emitter using 280K particles, it's a very basic scene with a ramp and text. the issue is that the simulation is progressively slowing down even though particles are being killed.
if I stop the simulation, close realflow, open it back up and hit simulate it will go very fast but only for a few frames, then it progressivly slows down to 1 min to 1% of a frame.

Here is some basic specs of the new workstation:

Precision Workstation T7600 Dell Precision T7600, 1300W
Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate, Media, 64-bit, English
Processor Dual Eight Core XEON E5-2680 (2.7GHz, 20M, 8.0 GT/s, Turbo+)
Memory 64GB, DDR3 RDIMM Memory, 1600MHz, ECC (8 x 8GB DIMMs)
Graphics Nvidia Quadro K5000, 4GB, 2 DP + DVIi +DVId

this puppy should have no problem with 280K particles!
when I start the simulation it pops up that it's using all 32 cores so I am not sure what I am missing here.. :|

EDIT:

I think I have nailed this down to a scene scale issue, so far so good anyways! ;)

EDIT:

Scratch that, worked good for a bit then encountered the same issue.. I've discovered that I installed the original 2012 Realflow 2012 file
so I am downloading the latest version >< I will report back tomorrow once I have that installed.

Other info about the scene file:

resolution of my standard fill object emitter is 1
surface tension 150
internal/external pressure at .5
min substeps 20 max substeps 150
besides that everything is default, even the frame rate!

pretty sure the latest version will fix the issue but I thought I would add that for initial lack of information!!

EDIT: >< still slowing down, I am having to save, close, reopen and start simulating over and over to get my project done in time, any ideas???

*bump*

After chatting with Luis this morning this is looking more and more like a graphics card issue, anyone else using the Nvidia quadro series having issues also? :?

got the same issue here on realflow 2013, restarting realflow speeds it up for about 50 frames, then slows down, only got 2000 particles or so...
did anyone find out why this happens? i've got geforce580 with 320.49 driver

I've got a GeForce GTX 660 and I have occasionally seen this problem, but its usually when I do something stupid like forget to put a K_Volume demon in my scene. Without realizing it once, I had a long line of particles falling into infinity and could not understand why the sim times had doubled.

This usually happens when I have been doing other things while I simulate, like web surfing, especially on You Tube. The sim times get progressively longer. When I stop doing other things, slowly the times go back down again, but only rebooting will make the times go to normal.

yea thx, I installed the latest Beta Driver and the issue seems to be fixed. Simulations are 50x faster now^^

Hey,

what number is it?. The beta number you installed. Let me know.
