Looking for .abc sequence instead of .bin

Looking for .abc sequence instead of .bin

I ran a simulation and saved it out as a .bin but now realflow shows nothing and says "- WARNING: File HY_Mesh_VDB01_00039.abc not found."

There is no .abc file, there never was, only .bin. It was showing the .bin files fine an hour ago, now its looking for abc files... why?
