I've a few questions regarding texturing, BIN files and mesh integrity within 3DSMax.
I've simulated and successfully used the texture gizmo to apply UVW coordinates to my mesh. I import into Max using the plugin, I apply my material, procedural, and render. The material holds to the mesh as expected, however, there are these shimmering "artifacts" that I believe are caused by the changing mesh topology. My question is this, how dependent is the mesh upon on the amount of particles used in the sim to generate a solid surface. I wish I could illustrate this with some images but this is a sensitive production.
Thank in advance.
