Hi,
Which settings or workflow its necessary in order to settle down the simulation for the granular solver?
Right now the particles keep vibrating and wont stop moving completely.
There I made an initial state and have a drag daemon at 1.0 and a k speed with min 0 - max 1. Domain Damping at 1 and the solver substeps min and max at 5.
Here's a playblast:

Thank you.
Dyverso-Granular how to settle down?

Hi,
can you share with us all the granular fluid parameters you are currently using?

Just in addition to this:
- You could use higher damping values, e.g. around 3.
- Higher iterations (30-50) add more stiffness to the material, more than with just increasing substeps.
- Also try higher friction settings: 0.7 for both.
- The DY_Friction value of the ground object plays a role as well. Start with something like 0.2 or 0.3.
Anyway, if we can take a look at your settings it'll definitely help.
Cheers,
Thomas

Re: Dyverso-Granular how to settle down?
Hi,
Sorry for the late response, I was not getting the reply notifications.
I believe I had the cohesion set at 1. I opened the demo scene to look at the settings and noticed it was set to 0.4 so I tried that and it stopped the vibrations.
Here's the final sim:

Thank you.

That's a nice simulation. Thanks for sharing the video and letting us know about how you've fixed the tremble.
