Hi,

Every time I Lunch a render in 3ds max 2010, mental ray give me this two lines:

"MSG 0.0 warn : E:\MVM\fluocaril 7\rf5\particles\R50_op3__00000.bin: Image format not supported by mental ray. Will pass the image as raw data (slower and more memory consuming).

MSG 0.0 error: Image file "E:\MVM\fluocaril 7\rf5\particles\R50_op3__00000.bin" is not supported by mental ray nor 3dsmax."

It´s that OK.

have you tried writing your images with a different character for seperation? e.g. '#' instead of '_'...



...btw you shouldn't eat your renders for lunch

The max to mental ray translator thinks that the path points to a texture and says that mental ray won't be able to read it. That's irrelevant in this case, because RFRK obviously knows how to open BIN files itself. You can ignore the warning, it's harmless.
