Rendered a project to grid_fluid_emitter particles resulting in 900 bin files. Converted particles to mesh and then imported same to 3D Max. Everything OK with mesh object appearing with Max model. Problems arose when I then deleted the 900 mesh files from the meshes folder within the RF directory. This caused the Max fluid object to disappear. Is the Max object always linked to the RF mesh files and therefore deleted along with deletion of the mesh files in RF?
I do have the original 900 grid_fluid_emitter particles but cannot make RF recognize them, so that I can repeat the conversion process to meshes within RF. Only thing I can do with them is make a Preview movie through RF. Tried to import them directly with RenderKIt to Max. Can only import them as particles and not a meshed object.
I have done quite a bit of rereading into the manuals and tutorials but cannot find a solution.
Thank you for any assistance and guidance

Re: particles to meshes
Hey,
You always will need the files reference to use them inside 3dsmax. Keep in mind if the max file had the meshes embeded the size for the max file would be very huge. So you'll need thoses files to render them for any 3d platform, not just 3dsmax because the 3d platform will get a reference to those files.
The other possibility is by using the renderkit with your particles. Renderkit won't need the meshes files, only the particles, because it'll generate the meshes in render time.
