I'm not sure what's going on, but just tried to import a Mist cached .f3d sim into 3dsMax using the RF Cloud object.
And all i can see is the tab "Parameters", as seen in the pic below:
I'm using 3ds Max 2014 SP2 now, but that was the case with SP1 and default 2014 as well...
I tested LightWave's version and the Mist options are shown there correctly, so unless i'm missing something the 3dsMax implementation is broken ?
Anyone else?
Gregg

Hey Gregg,
Open the material editor. Select Pick Material From Object and select the Cloud object. Now, you'll see the cloud options clicking on RealFlow_3_Flow_Cloud in the volume.

Aha!
I knew it should be something that easy...
Problem is i was using Vray as the main renderer and the material on the Cloud object was hidden as "incompatible", so i couldn't see it in the Scene's Material list and never thought to just "pick material from object"...
Thanks for the heads up!...
Gregg
ps: Any info about VRay support for RenderKit perhaps?

Imho, VRay is the sole reason 3DS Max is still around, so supporting VRay seem like a no-brainier; for me, at least...
Cheers,
