Realwave Custom and RW_splash_obj.... no..?

Hello... I can get nice some nice RW_splash to work with an hexamesh.. but if I load a custom mesh, noparticles are emitted... is it a limitation...? or...?

At first, I tried to use a custom curved surface mesh for the RW and quickly abandoned that method due to crazy waves generated by a boat. (A pirate boat.) ;) Also, simulation time per frame went astronomical. Is your a flat custom mesh or curved? Maybe it's a curved mesh issue?
