Hello,
I'm working on a solution to form a logo with particles but keep it organic. This image isn't exactly what the logo looks like but it's the closest example. http://www.dailyfreepsd.com/wp-content/ ... vector.png or this http://www.clker.com/cliparts/x/X/x/E/N/x/wave-hi.png
I want to say for all intents and purposes, the look I'm trying to get is this wave loop in this image. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/imag ... 9Hb0SsZkSS but still following the overall shape of the logo. It just feels very natural.
I've tried things like filling up the shape I imported from Cinema 4D but that just gives me a very blocky look and I need that run off and particles drifting out of the main shape.
Would the Magic Daemon be a better tool for this or would the spline emitter be better? Maybe the Coriolis Daemon? A point in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks!

Re: Particles to form logo but still keep organic shape
This is really tricky stuff.
The big question is "Do you need a still or an animation?"
I've had to do some pretty specific shaping before and personally I recommend thinking much more abstractly about your approaches.
Try lots of different setups throwing liquid from different shaped containers and spraying into different shaped colliders.
You will be amazed where the right shapes will come from.
I think filling your logo mesh might be a tricky one. I would try dropping it into fluids or spraying fluids through it. Again, you never really know which one will work for you.
Not sure if you are using Hybrido or SPH, but I would definitely recommend SPH for this kind of stuff.
Not much here really, just try some totally different setups and really look for your shapes. You can find some cool stuff in there.
One last thought it to not be afraid to tweak meshes afterwards. The bin meshes work great with deformers in Maya. I've had a lot of luck refining shapes after as well.
All the best.
