Error messages + multiple scripts

I really love the new simulation events manager and its ability to use multiple scripts and activate/deactivate them according to my needs, but there's one thing I'd really like to see improved: error messages only tell me the affected line of a script, but never where the error really occurred. There are sometimes errors which cannot be seen by "Check Syntax". They just pop up during a simulation and then it's not always easy to find out which script is actually the origin of the problem. Additionally, I have the impression that "at line number XX" has an offset of +1.
