Realflow 5 not opening scenes...

Hello,

Getting a problem where we are creating scenes in window 7 version, simulating in Linux FC11.x86_64, saving scene then the Linux saved file will not open backup in windows version.

Andy Idea?

Hi Andy,

Not opening backup scene or the original ones?
Would be great to have a look at one of those files to see what is going on.

Sorry for late reply, being well busy!

Its when opening the original file...

And it seems to be when you save a scene with a BIG particle count ie near the end of a sim, when there are over 10mill particles, this creates a Large scene size as its saving the last particle frame in the scene?

When I try to open it up on different platform it just hangs.
This has happened on many different scenes of ours.

We will try to reproduce the problem here. If I got it right we should create a scene in Windows 7, simulate in Linux and save the scene near the end (having a big count of particles), then trying to load that file back into windows 7 hangs forever.

Yes thats correct, to note we are using a SD file as well. And we are Using Remote Desktop connection to control the PCs.
