Hej,
seems the setup is some kind of broken. the emitter is emitting over the top of the window most of the time.
in the k-deamon directly.
But that's just a side note.
-----
looks like most of the time people use python to solve something. but i'm totally new to python scripting - and this scene is a start to understand. so i would like to know, if this is the general way to do such a thing - personally i would try to mimic this effect with the in-built deamons...
would be great if you can give me a little more inside why you did it the way you did it. for example.
btw. do you plan a sub-forum for resources to discuss / comment or maybe comments directly at the resource site - just wonder if this is the right board for my question.
best

Hi astan,
Maybe it is broken for you because the axis setup is different. Do you have any message when loading the scene about some objects has different axis setup?.
Python script is useful for many things inside RealFlow, but of course you could attempt to make the same scene by using daemons, but sometimes it won't be possible because you'll need an internal access for particles, for instance and the daemons won't give you that necessary information. You could use a daemon script, but it is python as well. Now, in RealFlow 2013, is possible to use Graph nodes to do the same you'd do with python, but this time connecting nodes.

im sorry, but i dont get any messages about different setups. below are two screenshots of the scene - i just turned the visibility of the rain emitter on.
thanks about the short explanation - i'll look deeper into those Graphs.
