Hybrido2 - Viscosity parameter?

Hi everyone,

Can somebody tell me where are Density and Viscosity parameters in Hybrido2 Domain? It was possible to adjust the setting in the previous version of hybrido.
Is it still possible to make a very viscous fluid like sirup, wax or resin?

We want to achieve a splash in big amount of very viscous liquid, and we have hard time with sph.

Hi Jerome,

For this first implementation of a FLIP solver inside RealFlow I am afraid that we don´t have viscosity settings, but there will be a viscosity model implemented in future versions.

I am new to Realflow and have been trying to get up to speed with the 2013 learning edition for a few weeks now.
I'm wondering, what alternatives to RealFlow users have, since Hybrido 2 does not yet have Viscosity?

Are users of Realflow 2013 entitled to a copy of Realflow 2012 so they have the option to use Hybrido 1/Viscosity on certain projects?

I am asking because I am using the learning edition with the aim of purchasing/renting full licence when I have learnt the software.

Hi Michael,

Viscosity exist in RealFlow, just not in this version of the FLIP solver.
You have the SPH for the cases where you need to do viscous fluids.

Mixing 2012 and 2013 versions would not be a great idea imho. Altough you can open RF2012 scenes inside RF2013, Hybrido has change quite a few conceptual things and many parameter so you would only get crazy trying to understand the differences between Hybrido1 and Hybrido2.
Moreover, we cannot support any issues from past versions since we concentrate our efforts on the later version.
