Increasing the steps must be working regardless of the speed of the boat. BTW I tried your scene and didn't have any tendrils. Did you send us the right one? Can you upload a screen shot of the look you are having right now? Are you using the version 7.0.1.0131?

Right now i'm using 150 substeps and strictness to 1. I don't know how the simulation evolved and if is the strictness value that resolve the problem or maybe the substeps 150, anyway this is the result.

I don't think we have the same scene that you have. This is what I get if I simulate your scene.

Other than that I must say that adding friction to the yacht will definitely help to add realism to your scene. For "Friction bandwidth" the double of the "Cell size" parameter is a good value, for the "Grid friction" a value of 0.5 is also a good one.

I added friction to your scene, also lowered the "global cell size" parameter to 0.5.

Ok. Now i have a simulation similar to the last one of Atena. But it's normal that i need to setting up the Emission rate really high value like 6000000 for to see a good amount of Particles? And another one, on splash statistics i have Existent and Emitted particles to 0/Zero. It's normal?

Hi dario,
Have you checked if you have adjusted the splash bounded?. I mean, to scale up the green splash box to adjust it to the area where you want to emit splashes.

Yes. I set the bounded of splash little bit more then yachtObject. Now i use splash&Foam emitter and i have a good amount of particles like 5000000. Now the answer. How i'm render this amount of particles without Krakatoa?.
Renderkit as particles or cloud. I have 12GB RAM, but it seem that rendering take more time. What optimization i do?
