Strange box around object hybrido ...

Hello everyone !

I have an weird issue with one of my sim... I have imported some objects in .sd and launch the sim;

here is the result :

as you can see it is a bit annoying.

BUT ... I have correct it, I think that it will be great to share the solution of a simple problem...

My object is open and the .sd export didn't see it, so in RF the volume type was in "solid inside" mode; i believe that it take the bounding box instead of the real mesh...

So, to solve you problem, just put the Volume > Volume mode in shell mode ! :)

Hey,

Could you send me the sd file to check here?. Is it possible that you have removed some information from the geometry before exporting to SD?

Maybe it's best to upload the scene too, to get a better idea of your settings.

I don't know why but I can't have any good simulation with these parameters, I just want some little movement in the water... If I try to increase object friction branwidth or interaction factor it begin to jitter... Am I doing something wrong ?

I have also tried to increase the number of cell but it was not better...

Hey,

you forgot the geometry. I need to see the geometry to know how it is affecting to the fluid.

We had a similar issue here. Thing was the object's normals had been flipped. Correcting the normals again did the job for us.

Hey,

A couple of things here.

Florian is right. You have flipped normals for your objects and they are voxelizing in a wrong way. Also, you have geometry "perso_spatule....droite" incrusted with the capeMerge. keep in mind that it could be a wrong behavior when the solver voxelize theses geometries.
