Hi,
When I put a grid mesh onto my HYBRIDO simulation, I can't see any parameters to adjust the distance between particles and mesh. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Re: No distance parameter for Grid Mesh?
Bumpity bump.
The grid domain is added automatically, then I also add the grid emitter to the grid mesh, but still there is no params available when I click on these. What happened to these parameters?

Re: No distance parameter for Grid Mesh?
The answer is that there are no field settings with grid meshes, because this mesh type uses an algorithm that's completely different from the particles mesh engines. The particles you can see with grid fluid are nothing more than a visual representation to give you an idea of the fluid, but internally RF doesn't work with particles here and therefore you cannot apply field settings for metaball-like structures.
If you want to use field settings you have to activate BIN file export for the grid emitter and use either the RFRK or the standard particle meshing engine.
