Working car wheel with multijoints?
Working car wheel with multijoints?
Since RF5 has excluded the constraints functions from RF4, what is the best way to create a working turning wheel that only rotates on one or two axis?
Re: Working car wheel with multijoints?
Hi,
Make sure the wheel object dynamics are on. Then, in the Multijoint, set it as object A. Then, set as B the object it will be attached to.
Create a couple of null objects and place each one at a side of the wheel so they describe the rotation axis for the wheel.
Set the Multijoint creation method to "at locator positions" and select both Nulls as locators.
Let us know if that's what you want to achieve.

Thanks for your reply and yes this is exactly what I need, I cant believe I didn't spot such simple solution!
Thanks Again.
