Does cache for rigid bodies work?

I´ve experience the objects simualted do not move when cached. Is this the normal behaveour?

I also observed this yesterday.

I had similar problems, it helps to delete the sd cache filess. I hoped they would have fixed it in RF2012, but unfortunately it seems like it is not fixed, yet.

I think it has to do with re-simulate the scene with the objects set to cache, but I had to do more tests.
Could you guys test this at NL?

There is an issue here, actually not a bug but something that can be improved.

Every single object must export its "Animation" resource if it is going to be use in "Cache" mode. I mean, in the export central, under the object, check the "Animation" option.

An improvement to this will be using the global "Animation(.sd)" in the case the animation file per object is missing.
